Runestone U140 is a runestone located in Täby, Uppland, Sweden. The runestone is damaged, and only half of it remains. It measures 0.5 metres in height and 0.61 metres in width, and is made of granite. The ornamentation is executed in the Ringerike style, and the serpent depicted on the stone is bound with an Irish leash.
U140 is a so-called Greece runestone, commemorating a person connected to travels to the Byzantine Empire. It is also one of the Jarlabanke runestones—stones raised by the magnate Jarlabanke and his kin as a means of promoting their status and legacy.
Next to Runestone U140, fragments of runestones U139 and U151 can also be found.
